- An XRP expert warns investors not to expect a major price surge after the Ripple-SEC lawsuit ends, saying the hype is already priced in.
- Instead, they believe XRP’s real rally will depend on Ripple’s future moves, such as key partnerships and utility expansion.
XRP holders hoping for a post-lawsuit moonshot might want to pump the brakes. A prominent voice in the crypto community, known as All Things XRP, has delivered a stark reality check, urging investors to manage their expectations as the SEC vs. Ripple case inches toward resolution.
According to the commentator, the XRP rally tied to the lawsuit’s conclusion may have already come and gone. “If you’re waiting for XRP to pump after the case officially ends, you’re late,” they cautioned. XRP’s price previously surged in anticipation of the lawsuit’s end—most notably following President Trump’s 2020 re-election, when the token jumped from $0.50 to a staggering $3.34.
Since then, however, XRP has struggled to maintain momentum. Despite Ripple and the SEC recently agreeing to pause litigation for settlement talks, the token’s price has remained relatively flat, signaling that much of the optimism may already be “priced in.”

But it’s not all doom and gloom. All Things XRP believes the real rally could come after the lawsuit ends—not because of it. They suggest that Ripple’s strategic moves post-settlement will be the true catalyst for XRP’s next leg up. Think major partnerships, increased utility for XRP, and bold new initiatives that could drive serious adoption.
Legal experts, including Attorney Fred Rispoli, anticipate that the case could officially wrap up by May 2025, pending the SEC’s final decision and court approval. If a settlement is reached, Ripple may pay a reduced fine of $50 million, with the permanent injunction dismissed.
In the meantime, XRP investors are being advised to keep their eyes on Ripple’s next chess moves rather than hoping for a courtroom miracle. As the crypto world waits, the real question isn’t if XRP will rise—it’s when, and under what conditions.
