- Telegram has introduced a new wallet bot.
- The telegram exchange allows users to sell and buy cryptocurrencies.
Telegram, the popular messaging app, has launched a peer-to-peer (P2P) crypto exchange service for users. The service, which is powered by the TON blockchain, allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly with each other.
The P2P exchange is an extension of the Telegram Wallet feature, which was launched in 2020. The Wallet feature allows users to store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies. The new P2P exchange adds the ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly from within the Telegram app.
To use the P2P exchange, users must first create a Telegram Wallet. Once they have created a Wallet, they can search for other users who are selling or buying cryptocurrencies. When they find a suitable trade, they can agree on a price and complete the transaction.
The P2P exchange supports six different fiat currencies: the euro, Russian ruble, U.S. dollar, Ukrainian hryvnia, Belarusian ruble, and Kazakhstani tenge. Users can also create an advertisement to sell Toncoin and purchase cryptocurrency by selecting an advertisement posted by another user.
The P2P exchange is a commission-free service. However, users will need to pay network fees when they send or receive cryptocurrencies.
The launch of the P2P exchange is a significant development for Telegram. It makes it easier for users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, and it could help to drive adoption of the TON blockchain.
