They successfully closed a Series A funding round, raising a total of $12.888 million. The funding round was spearheaded by Archetype, a prominent venture firm, and included the participation of existing seed investors like Placeholder, 1confirmation, Cherry, and Semantic. Joining them were new investors, including Robot Ventures, Chorus One, Factor, and Maelstrom, among others. This Series A round substantially boosts Rated Labs’ total capital to over $15 million, following a $2.5 million seed round in the previous year.
Company Milestones
Rated Labs, established in 2022, has achieved remarkable milestones in its relatively short journey. Its Rated Explorer has attracted nearly 150,000 unique visitors, and its API has been called upon a staggering 60 million times, integrated into more than 45 platforms. The company has also forged strategic partnerships with key players in the Ethereum staking ecosystem, including Lido, Liquid Collective, Metamask Institutional, Chorus One, Stader Labs, and Nexus Mutual.
Expansion Plans
With the fresh injection of capital, Rated Labs is poised for expansion. The company’s vision includes extending its services to multiple Layer 1 blockchain networks, encompassing platforms like Polygon, Solana, Cosmos, and Polkadot. Elias Simos, co-founder and CEO of Rated Labs, revealed that the company is diligently working on enhancing its existing product line by introducing new features and real-time functionality. As part of its growth strategy, the firm plans to double its current team of 12 full-time employees, with a focus on bolstering the engineering department over the coming quarters.
