Google Cloud Pairs with Coinbase to Drive Web3 Innovation

• Google Cloud on Tuesday announced its plans to partner with crypto exchange Coinbase.
• Coinbase is building the crypto-economy a more fair, accessible, efficient, and transparent financial system enabled by crypto.

Google Cloud on Tuesday announced its plans to partner with crypto exchange Coinbase, for advanced applications. From early next year, Google Cloud users would be able to pay for the services with cryptocurrencies.

Coinbase has selected Google cloud as a strategic cloud provider to assemble advanced exchange and data services for its users. With Google Cloud’s powerful computation platform, Coinbase will have the ability to process blockchain data at scale and upgrade the global outreach of its crypto services by leveraging Google’s premium fiber optic network.

Coinbase also plans on building its global data platform on Google’s Cloud secure infrastructure and leveraging its leading data and analytics technologies to provide Coinbase customers with machine learning with machine-driven crypto insights.

In the agreement between the two parties, Google Cloud is positioned to enable select users beginning with those in the Web3 ecosystem, to pay foR its cloud services via several selected cryptocurrencies.

Powered by Coinbase commerce which allows merchants globally to accept cryptocurrency payments in a decentralized way, the new payments experience will benefit Google Clouds users and partners by upgrading the optionality of payments foR Google Cloud services.

Web3 developers also have the privilege to access Google’s BigQuery crypto public datasets, which will be powered by Coinbase Cloud Notes across leading blockchains in the crypto space.
