  • Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson slams the XRP community for spreading conspiracies about him.
  • Charles believes that XRP should be regulated as a commodity by the CFTC and not by the SEC.

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has disavowed Ripple Labs after being harassed by members of the XRP Army. Hoskinson had previously said that he was not against Ripple, but he now says that he wants nothing more to do with the company or its community.

The feud between Hoskinson and the XRP Army began when Hoskinson clarified his views on the dispute between the SEC and Ripple labs. Hoskinson said that he believes that XRP is a commodity and should be regulated by the CFTC, not the SEC. This angered members of the XRP Army, who began to harass Hoskinson on Twitter.

Hoskinson eventually blocked most of the XRP trolls, but the harassment continued. A key member of the XRP Army, @XRPcryptowolf, even assured Hoskinson that the feud should not be caused by just a few trolls and he respects Hoskinson, adding that the Ripple and Cardano communities should be firmly united these days. However, Hoskinson did not agree with this.

In a recent tweet, Hoskinson said that he wants nothing to do with Ripple labs. He said that he had blocked nearly all of the XRP trolls who proceed to harass unprovoked. He also said that he is disgusted and totally checked out with the XRP community.

The feud between Hoskinson and the XRP Army is a reminder of the toxicity that can exist in the cryptocurrency community. It is important to remember that not all members of any community are the same, and that it is possible to disagree with someone without resorting to harassment.
