Kanye West Slapped With a $250 Million Lawsuit
- George Floyd’s mother files a law suit against Kanye West.
- The rapper made hurtful misleading comments while at The Drink Champs Podcast.
A few days ago, Kanye announced plans to buy crypto-friendly social media platform Parler. The hip-hop rapper and entrepreneur said that he made this move in respect to big tech giant companies censoring his thoughts. He was quoted saying;
In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves.
Kanye’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were recently suspended for sometime due to anti-Semitic comments that were directed to the Jews, claiming that they supposedly control the media. Kanye identified his close colleague, Hip Hop star P. Diddy, to be âpossessed by the Jews”. Additionally the rapper went on âThe Drink Champs Podcastâ, hosted by the well-known rapper N.O.R.E. a.k.a Noreaga and the interview was a disaster.
Kanye West made false comments about George Floydâs death to promote his brands, according to George Floyd’s family and the show’s host. George Floyd’s murder caused a series of protests against police brutality in the United States and was also trending in social media. The victim’s neck was crushed by a police officer and that the police officer deliberately pressed his foot over the victim’s neck, as he screamed âI canât breatheâ.
However, the controversial rapper claimed that George Floydâs cause of passing was fentanyl use. In a testimony during the court murder case, Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker revealed that, while the victim used fentanyl, it wasnât the direct cause of his death.

Kanye’s interview on Drink Champs was deleted with N.O.R.E apologizing for having let Kanye make misleading and yet hurtful comments on the sensitize topic of Mr. Floydâs murder. The disagreement comes just a couple of days after Kanye introduced a White Lives Matterâ t-shirts at Paris Fashion Week, saying that the t-shirts are âlike taking a cold shower which really wakes you upâ.
Social media platform Parler released 250 NFTs idolizing Donald Trump. Kanye who showed support to former President Trump might have found his audience, since there are little friends left in the Jewish and Black communities.
