- Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto predicts XRP could soar to $45 if it repeats its 2017 bull run pattern.
- In the short term, XRP eyes $5, with long-term targets ranging from $19 to $27 based on historical surges.
A well-known crypto analyst has reignited excitement in the XRP community with a bold prediction: XRP could skyrocket to $45—but only if history repeats itself.
Egrag Crypto, a respected figure in the digital asset space, recently pointed out that XRP may be gearing up for a massive rally similar to its 2017 price explosion. Back then, the token surged by a staggering 2,700%, fueled by a bullish break above the 21 Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and culminating in a dramatic blow-off top. If XRP follows a similar trajectory, Egrag believes the price could hit $45, a level that would send shockwaves across the market.

But that’s not the only bullish scenario on the table.
The analyst also highlighted XRP’s performance during the 2021 bull run, when it rallied by 1,050% after breaking through both the 21 and 33 EMA. Should XRP replicate this move, it could at least reach $19, according to Egrag. He emphasized that his long-standing target remains $27, encouraging investors to dollar-cost average (DCA) in preparation.
In the short term, XRP is aiming for a more modest but still impressive milestone of $5. A recent CoinGape analysis suggested that the acquisition of Hidden Road could funnel $10 billion in trading volume into the XRP Ledger—an influx that might fuel this next leg up.
Bullish on-chain data supports the case as well. XRP recently hit a new all-time high in wallet addresses, signaling growing adoption and investor interest in Ripple’s native asset.
Adding more fuel to the speculative fire, analyst BarriC floated a dream-level price target of $1,000, though he admitted it would require mass adoption and a radical transformation in the financial system.
Whether XRP reaches $5, $45, or an eye-popping $1,000, one thing is clear: the bulls are watching closely, and history might just be ready to rhyme.
