- Recent blockchain data reveals a massive 1.08 million user increase for Sui, bringing its total daily active addresses to an impressive 2.46 million, overtaking Tron’s 2.45 million.
While the broader crypto market continues to face a downturn, with SUI’s price dipping 9.73% in the last 24 hours and almost 20% over the past week, the blockchain network itself is seeing explosive growth. This discrepancy between price performance and network activity highlights the resilience of the Sui blockchain, even amid market challenges.

Tron, which previously held the third spot, has seen a decline in its active addresses, with its daily user activity slipping from 2.77 million to 2.45 million. This decrease has dropped Tron to fourth place in the rankings, and recent metrics from IntoTheBlock confirm a slowdown in new address creation, which fell by 3.06%. Additionally, active addresses on Tron decreased by 6.86%, signaling a potential stabilization after a period of rapid growth. The rise in zero-balance addresses, up by 16.42%, also indicates a higher rate of wallet churn on the Tron network.
Meanwhile, Solana continues to dominate in terms of active users, despite its own recent dip in activity. Solana’s user base dropped by 789,000, moving from 5.2 million to 4.4 million, while BNB Chain made impressive gains, moving from sixth to fifth place, increasing its active addresses from 1.04 million to 1.49 million.
Sui’s remarkable growth is further underscored by recent milestones, with the network surpassing 8 billion total transactions between May 2023 and January 2025. Additionally, over 4.1 million new accounts joined the platform in early April 2025, with more than 100 million active users contributing to an impressive activity ratio of over 81%.
Sui’s climb in daily active addresses marks it as a major player in the blockchain space, solidifying its place among the top networks. As the blockchain continues to grow at a rapid pace, it remains to be seen whether SUI can maintain its momentum and further challenge top contenders like Solana.
