- Solana meme coins are staging a comeback, with daily trading volumes surpassing $100 million and user activity hitting all-time highs.
- Platforms like Axiom and Pumpswap are leading the surge, as top tokens post double-digit gains and Solana’s network shows signs of strong recovery.
After months of dormancy and doubt, Solana-based meme coins are roaring back into the spotlight. Fueled by a surge in trading activity and renewed user interest, daily trading volumes have crossed the $100 million mark, signaling a bullish revival for this speculative corner of the crypto market.
Leading the charge is Axiom, a meme trading platform that recently hit a record-breaking $100 million in daily volume on April 14. According to crypto analyst Colin Wu, Axiom accounted for roughly 50% of the total market share for Solana meme coin trading, with over 26,800 users active on the platform — a historic high.

But Axiom isn’t the only player turning heads. Pump.fun’s newly launched DEX, Pumpswap, has quickly carved out a significant share of Solana’s decentralized exchange (DEX) market. The platform posted a 50% surge in daily trading volume on April 15, capturing 14% of Solana’s DEX ecosystem. Data from DeFiLlama shows that overall DEX activity on Solana is beginning to recover from the March slump, further reinforcing the upward trend.
This resurgence isn’t just about platform metrics — token prices are climbing too. Eight of the ten largest Solana meme coins recorded double-digit gains over the past week. Even TRUMP, one of the few underperformers, managed a 4.5% uptick despite being weighed down by tariff-related headwinds and a recent token unlock.
This burst of activity comes at a critical time for Solana itself, which had been reeling from a 12-month low. The network’s native token has since rebounded, notching a 20% gain over the past week.
While the long-term sustainability of meme coins remains uncertain, the recent uptick in trading volumes and user engagement points to a real — if possibly short-lived — comeback. For now, Solana meme coins are proving that in crypto, even the wildest trends can stage a dramatic return.
