Since its initial presence in 2022, Binance has trained over 3,000 students across 13 universities. Now, with government backing, the platform is set to deliver structured blockchain education on a national scale. Educators will receive comprehensive training and resources to effectively teach blockchain concepts, empowering a new generation of tech-savvy graduates.
The program includes localized course content, online learning tools, and mentorship for faculty members to ensure academic alignment and long-term impact. Students will gain practical skills highly relevant to emerging industries, including digital finance, cybersecurity, and decentralized applications.
Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Pakistan’s Minister of IT and Telecom, underscored the program’s alignment with the country’s digital vision:
“In line with the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for a digitally empowered Pakistan, this partnership marks an important milestone in the country’s digital transformation.”
She emphasized the initiative’s role in boosting Pakistan’s global tech standing and meeting local demand for blockchain talent.
Bader Al Kalooti, MEASA Head of Growth and Operations at Binance, echoed that sentiment, stating that the collaboration prepares students to actively contribute to the global digital economy.
This joint initiative not only strengthens Pakistan’s position in the global tech landscape but also highlights the growing importance of blockchain education in shaping the future workforce.
